Bought this as a birthday present for a former Marine. He loved it! The mesh part of the cap has a soft band for comfort.

I always try to buy products that are made in America for two reasons. 1. It supports America jobs. 2. The quality is usually better than imports.
The Nine Line mesh back ball caps I purchased were even better than I had expected. There's two layers of mesh. The outer layer has larger mesh holes than the inner layer which has a fine mesh. Both together are pliable and breathable. The fine mesh wicks sweat away and the more porous outer layer let's the sweat evaporate. The overall fit and finish is exceptional. I'm a long haul trucker and have lot's of hats, but none better than my Nine Line ball caps. Highly recommend Nine Line apparel.

Really well made and very light. Was expecting more weight being canvas. Fits very well and looks good. Its my 2nd hat purchase from NL. Giving one as gift too (technically my 3rd purchase)
