Veteran-owned Nine Line Apparel is excited to announce a new partnership with NASCAR driver Jeffrey Earnhardt, to give back to the children of our nation’s fallen. On Friday, April 27th, at the Talladega Superspeedway in Talladega, Alabama, Nine Line CEO and co-founder CPT Tyler Merritt and Earnhardt, grandson of famed driver Dale Earnhardt Sr, will announce their joint fundraising initiative to support the nonprofit organization Angels of America’s Fallen.
The apparel company first came into contact with Angels of America’s Fallen after Nine Line lost one of their own employees, an Army veteran, to the 22 a day veteran suicide epidemic. In lieu of flowers, his widow requested donations be made to the nonprofit organization, whose goal is to support the children of those lost due to military service - whether in combat as a result of injuries, or suicide related to PTSD. Through the programs run by Angels of America’s Fallen, children who have lost a military parent are able to engage in sports and hobbies that help build their talents and character, while honoring their parent’s legacy.
"The support from Nine Line Apparel will be tremendous in helping us stand by the children of our fallen heroes during their most crucial formative years,” said Joe Lewis, founder and CEO of Angels of America’s Fallen. “All funds raised will go directly to empowering very deserving children in sports, music, and arts as positive outlets for their grief. Our mission is to engage them all year, every year, all the way through 18 years old, and we couldn’t do it without the support of patriots.”
“This is the first step in an exciting new partnership with Jeffrey’s team,” said Merritt. “Our goal is to support an incredible nonprofit organization that honors the memory of those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. By partnering on this initiative, we’re joining forces so that we can raise as much funds and awareness as possible.”
“I’m excited to be partnered with Nine Line Apparel to salute our veterans and the active duty military that serve our great country,” said Earnhardt. “Nine Line is an incredible organization that’s owned and operated by Veterans. They are everything I want to be associated with and I’m honored by this relationship.”
Nine Line and Earnhardt will be fundraising for Angels of America’s Fallen through the sale of Nine Line’s “Remember the Fallen” design, which will be on sale from Wednesday, April 25th through Wednesday, May 9th, at www.ninelineapparel.com. Once the purchase window has closed, the shirts will be printed and shipped no later than Wednesday, May 16th. Fans are invited to wear their shirts to the Coca Cola 600 in Charlotte, North Carolina on Memorial Day weekend, where CPT Merritt and Earnhardt will present a check for the proceeds.

The terrors of war are unbearable for some of our nation’s soldiers and veterans. Scrutiny, lack of support, and misunderstanding, are significant contributors to the sense of despair and hopelessness that is prevalent among many of those who have served our nation.
