After years serving alongside his handler as an explosive detection K9 on critical operations and major events, Tambo became known not just for the work he did, but for the bond he represented. An underdog from the beginning, Tambo’s journey has inspired thousands across the country through his story of service, perseverance, and heart.
Even after facing a terminal cancer diagnosis, Tambo continues to fight , becoming a symbol of “Defying the Odds.” What started as the story of one retired K9 has grown into a movement centered around loyalty, grit, and making every round count. Through social media, public appearances, children’s books, and now apparel, Tambo’s message continues reaching people far beyond the K9 world.
This launch with Nine Line Apparel brings that story to life through a design built around Tambo’s warrior spirit. Featuring the “One More Round” theme, the shirt represents the mindset that when life gets hard, you don’t quit — you dig deeper, stand back up, and give it one more round. Proceeds from this design will be donated to Project K9 Hero.
