The Nine Line Foundation is so named in homage to the Nine Line Medevac request, the call made in the battlefield containing the nine lines of information needed to extract an injured servicemember from the battlefield. Like the Medevac call, the Nine Line Foundation aims to serve a similar purpose: providing a landline to injured veterans after they have returned home.
In the 4 years since the Foundation was established, the Nine Line Foundation has helped 6 wounded veterans, the latest of whom is SGT Eric Morante, USMC (Ret.). All of the Foundation's recipients suffered severe injuries during their deployments, all of them lost limbs, and all of them needed help when they came home beyond what the government was able to offer. The Foundation stepped in, and did what needed to be done to drastically improve these heroes' lives.
This shirt symbolizes the true message of the Nine Line Foundation: that "No Man Left Behind" does NOT end on the battlefield. 100% of proceeds from the sale of this shirt will benefit the Foundation's efforts to build SGT Morante a 100% handicap accessible home.
