Nine Line steps forward to lead relief effort for tornado victims... - Nine Line Apparel

The National Weather Service describes the Dec. 10-11 2021 “Tornado Event” as follows: On the evening of Friday, December 10th, 2021, a potent storm system moving across the central United States resulted in widespread severe weather across the region, including a significant long track tornado. Preliminary surveys suggest this tornado began in northeast Arkansas, crossing the Missouri Bootheel, northwest Tennessee, and across western Kentucky, resulting in significant destruction to portions of the region.

For those of us not in the path of destruction, it’s impossible to imagine the utter devastation on the ground.

As of Monday, 88 people were confirmed dead, but that number is likely to rise. Thousands of homes have been damaged, if not entirely destroyed. It may be weeks before there are final counts on both deaths and levels of destruction until the surveys can be done.

Hundreds of thousands of people are without power and water, let alone access to phone or internet service.

This string of tornadoes which wreaked havoc across a nearly 200-mile path may go down as the longest and most destructive in history.

Once again, Nine Line is stepping forward to lead a massive relief effort.

In the military, when a medical evacuation (MEDEVAC) is required, a specific format of nine categories (or lines) of information is conveyed. The use of the “9-line” organizational method, particularly in a high stress, quickly changing combat environment, helps ensure those wounded get the assistance they need as quickly, safely and efficiently as possible.

As a company from the very start, we’ve wanted to be a “Nine Line” for America, whenever it is needed.

And now it certainly is. We've taken the military call for help and carried it over to the civilian world. When America needs us, we have their six.

REDCON1 has joined our efforts to raise funds for Kentucky victims of the storms. Like Nine Line, REDCON1 is a mission-focused company, founded by military veterans. REDCON1 literally means the highest state of readiness.

Money raised from the sale of our “Kentucky Strong” apparel will go directly to aid displaced Kentuckians and help them rebuild through the KSR Tornado Relief Fund Powered by the Kentucky Chamber Foundation.

With the death toll rising by the day and over a hundred still missing, our neighbors NEED our help, so we at Nine Line Apparel are asking our fellow brothers & sisters for help.

Long after the news cycle has moved on, those affected by these horrific storms will still be piecing together their lives. A massive effort is required to help them rebuild and we need as many Americans as possible to join Nine Line and REDCON1 and come to their aid.

Help us take care of them...the strong people of Kentucky need us. Join the relief efforts by grabbing our newest Limited Edition, "Kentucky Strong", because United We Stand… Divided We Fall… and Together, we will get through this!!!

(The Kentucky Chamber Foundation, Inc., is a Section 501(c)(3) public charity, and donations to it are generally eligible for a tax deduction in the United States
