Segregation returns: unvaccinated students in LA barred from school...

School segregation was outlawed in the United States in 1954, as a result of the landmark Brown v. Board of Education Supreme Court case.

Shockingly, 68 years later it’s back – not because of race, of course. No one would allow that.

But the “my body, myself” crowd has hypocritically decreed you don’t have a choice if your choice is not to vaccinate your child. You must be allowed to kill your child in the womb, but you are not allowed to withhold the (increasingly useless) Covid vaccine from your child and still expect him or her to attend school – at least in one L.A. school.

It matters not that, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, an estimated 596 U.S. children between the ages of 5 and 18 have died with (that’s with, not “of”) COVID-19 as of Jan. 19, 2022. In other words, only 0.07 percent (that’s seven-hundredths of a percent ) of the 848,388 deaths in the U.S. population during the entire pandemic have been among school-aged children.

However, the do-gooders at New West Charter School in Los Angeles are gleefully returning to the days of segregation.

Last October, New West Charter said it informed parents of its vaccine mandate, saying every student would need to provide proof of vaccination and a negative COVID-19 test to be allowed on campus, "just like every indoor establishment in Los Angeles is doing."

When school reopened on Jan. 18, 2022, students who were not vaccinated were barred from entering.

Let Them Breathe, an organization representing the students in a lawsuit said on Twitter “Unvax students at New West Charter LA segregated behind barriers & not allowed to attend class. They asked for chairs, were denied & are sitting on the pavement, not allowed to even use restroom. LAPD is on site but not intervening.”

"We’re being refused of the right to attend school," one student claims in a video on the post. "We feel segregated and discriminated against," adds another.

A spokesperson for New West Charter School told Fox News Digital that the school had implemented a vaccine mandate for students after winter break and had achieved 96 percent compliance, but "six students who did not follow the new policy still attempted to participate in classes." The school asked the students to leave, but they refused.

"The students proceeded to stage a sit-in directly behind designated areas for student PCR screenings on campus which was cordoned off with tape," the school added. "New West Charter School administration notified local authorities who came to campus and helped alleviate the disruption."

Sharon McKeeman, founder of Let Them Breathe, a nonprofit organization representing the students and parents in a lawsuit against the school, said “Female students were segregated, harassed, and threatened with suspension just for trying to participate in their classes, and we will prove in court that this is unjust and unlawful."

Who knew that one of the long term side-effects of Covid-19 would be insanity?
