Steven Melnikoff - Normandy Landings Veteran

Aged 105, Steven Melnikoff demonstrated exceptional service in the U.S. Army under the 1st Battalion, 175th Regiment, of the esteemed 29th Infantry Division. His profound experiences from the harrowing D-Day landings on June 06 and 07, 1944, distinguish him as a rare witness among the dwindling number of surviving veterans. Melnikoff was wounded twice and was present when the Americans met the Russians on the Elbe River shortly before the German Surrender.

In an exclusive collaboration with WWII Army veteran, Steven Melnikoff and The Greatest Generations Foundation, we proudly release this year's 80th Anniversary D-Day fundraiser design. Steven proudly served the 175th Regiment, of the esteemed 29th Infantry Division during the D-Day landings on June 06 and 07, 1944. This memorial fundraising design paints a picture of what that day, and the days afterwards, were like through the eyes of the heroes who were there, storming the beaches of Normandy. It focuses on a collage of powerful imagery of bravery, sacrifice and brotherhood from these D-Day veterans. They are, and forever will be, a part of one of the greatest generations to have ever lived.
